Happy New Year!
The 100+ ice blocks we carved for the festival and ice carving competition in Ithaca, NY on Dec 10-12 was a huge success. We'll have photos in the Gallery soon!
The Ice farm is also busy preparing ice sculptures for Jan 30th at the Skaneateles Winterfest in Central New York. We will be in front of the Creekside Bookstore. View our hand carved ice sculptures and then warm up with a cup of coffee at Creekside Books!
We'd also like to mention that Stan Kolonko, owner & world class ice sculptor, has been invited to represent the USA in the upcoming Harbin international competition in China!
And... did you know that The Ice Farm has been ranked by the Academy of Ice Carving and Design as a top ice carving company in the US?

2 Silver Medals!
We recently received two silver medals!! One in Westlake, Ohio with a sculpture entitled Sea Biscuit and one in Ottawa, Canada entitled Evening Snowfall.
In Fairbanks, Alaska Stanley's team had a tremendous WIN at the 2006 World Ice Art Championships. The submission of ‘Balto’s Charge’, a two story, multi-block sculpture depicted a team of energetic sled dogs charging down a mountain side with master in tow and won 1st Place in the Realistic category, as well as the Artists' Choice Award and the Governor's Choice Award. This beautiful carving was created over a 5 day period by a dynamic group of artists, including Stanley Kolonko, Steve Berkshire, Mark Johnson and Carl Eady. You can view more photos in our Gallery, or visit www.icealaska.com.
